Vegans are no longer an outcast from society. Even if you are at a conference that has food often times you will have the choice for a vegetarian plate.[2] Vegans are for saving animals and killing humans, check out the vegan foods they are mostly shit, not designed to be healthy for the human. If you want to be vegan and save the animals go ahead, but dont you dare open your fucking stupid uneducated mouthes and tell everyone else how they should be eating, because its obvious you dont even know the basics of a proper diet![3]

Vegans are above all other human beings and all other life forms. Vegans are the kings and queens of the world by simple dietary choice.[4] Vegans are bombarded with questions about where they get their protein. Athletes used to eat thick steaks before competition because they thought it would improve their performance.[5] Vegans are, tellingly, universally defensive about their food. When one claims things like "it tastes just as good as meat" or "I don't miss chocolate at all", it is no longer about taste, it is about a self-conscious posture that focuses on meat-substitution rather than the natural merits of your ingredients.[6]

Vegans are heavy users of products that meet their needs. They can be loyal, enthusiastic customers who generate word-of-mouth recommendations not only to other vegans, but also to the full spectrum of vegetarian eaters.[7]

Vegans are concerned about the environment, they oppose over consumption and multi-national corporations. But vegans also have homes and jobs, commuting daily, buying their food from local shops and supermarkets, living a modern, Western life.[8] Vegans are strict vegetarians who do not eat meat, fish, seafood, milk, cheese, eggs, butter, honey or any other animal product. Many vegans have strong religious beliefs or ethical reasons for not eating food derived from animals.

Vegans are particularly noteworthy because they do not intend to consume even eggs and dairy products. Thus, vegans' vitamins and nutrients needs are consisting of calcium, protein, iron and Vitamin B12.[10] Vegans are used to grilling waiters about ingredients and making substitutions to accommodate their needs. However, when a restaurant is busy, or the wait staff is unfamiliar with the ingredients in a dish, the ordering process can be frustrating for both parties.[11] Vegans are at particular risk for developing a vitamin B-12 deficiency since this vitamin is found almost exclusively in animal products such as milk, eggs, and cheese. Vitamin B-12 is essential to producing red blood cells to preventing anemia.

Vegans are also at risk for vitamin B12 deficiency, which causes a type of anemia. Side effects are numbness or tingling, and decreased mental acuity.[13]

Proteins in the human body tend to have a consistent percentage of the essential amino acids. The percentages of essential amino acids in both animal products and soy products closely mimic those found in human proteins.[14] Protein is deemed as "the building blocks of life," and everything has protein in it in varying amounts. A varying diet consisting of vegetables, fruits, beans, grains, and legumes provides more than adequate amounts of protein - only without the added cholesterol and saturated fats, antibiotics, chemicals, steroids, sulfuric substances, etc., found in animal sources.[15] Protein increases the acidic condition of the body, and the reaction in the body that neutralizes that acid results in loss of calcium from bones. It’s normal to lose some calcium since bones are dynamic and are always turning over.[16]

Vegetarians in Europe used to be called "Pythagoreans" after the philosopher Pythagoras, who with his followers abstained from meat in the 6th century BC. These people followed a vegetarian diet for nutritional and ethical reasons.[18] Vegetarians are always telling me that they need less sleep and less coffee and have more energy than they ever had before. They also tell me that their newfound energy has made them happier.[19] Vegetarians allow themselves to consume dairy product, i.e., milk, eggs, cheese. They would even, in theory, wear fur gloves.

Vegetarian restaurants and options abound. I have the same number of veggie friends as I do gay friends.[21] Vegetarianism and veganism are choices just as is being a meat-eater is a choice. Each of the three choices are just as valid as the next.[22] Vegetarian and vegan athletes are everywhere. From Hank Aaron (pro baseball player), to Steve Berra (pro skateboarder), to Andreas Cahling (champion bodybuilder), to Debbie Lawrence (5k record holder), to Martina Navratilova (champion tennis player), to Robert Parnish (pro basketball player), these athletes show that the stereotype of vegetarians and vegans being weak and frail is total nonsense.[23]

Vegetarians: Vegetarians who do not eat meats, fish, eggs, milk or milk products, or B12 fortified foods consume no vitamin B12 and are at high risk of developing a deficiency of vitamin B12. When adults adopt a vegetarian diet, deficiency symptoms can be slow to appear because it usually takes years to deplete normal body stores of B12.[24] Vegetarian restaurants, vegan-friendly and vegetarian-friendly restaurants around the country are listed with reviews of eating out there. In addition there is a variety of vegetarian and vegan accomodation including many bed and breakfasts and holistic centres around Ireland.[25] Vegetarians usually do have more gas than meat eaters. The problem here isn't vegetable protein.[26]

Vegetarians are the enemy of everything good and decent in the human spirit, and an affront to all I stand for, the pure enjoyment of food. The body, these waterheads imagine, is a temple that should not be polluted by animal protein.[27] Vegetarians tend to eat more vegetables and grains so their intake of nutrients tend to be a little higher than us meat eaters. In fact, meats and dairy are not the best sources of nutrients, there is also evidence that meat and dairy do more harm than good.[28] Vegetarian who drink milk and eggs. These are called, as Lacto-Vegetarians will not eat animal flesh.

God has always given us a choice. I choose to live in harmony with Gods creatures rather than destroy them.[32] God, I've been vegetarian, and I've been vegan. And it's not healthy for young kids.[33]

Dietitians can help vegans achieve optimal health by putting vegan choices into the proper perspective and encouraging a wide variety of whole, convenience, and prepared foods. [35] Dietary supplementation may be problematic for this reason, though there is no real consensus on the dangers of "megadosing". Most countries have recommended daily allowances for all vitamins and minerals, and these RDAs may vary from country to country, although some of these may be out of date with regard to current research (as in B12, where the UK RDA is 1ug but this is generally not regarded as adequate to maintain safe homocysteine levels).

Blood Groups - Are certain blood groups better suited to be vegetarian/vegan than others? Are particular ABO types more sensitive to the adverse effects of food-borne lectins interacting with the intestinal mucosa?[37] Blood counts are also unreliable as high folate intakes suppress the anaemia symptoms of B12 deficiency that can be detected by blood counts. Blood homocysteine testing is more reliable, with levels less than 10 mmol/litre being desirable.[38]

Eat at Native Foods and reverse the aging of the earth! [39] Eating no meat makes you 100-percent vegan (100-percent meat neutral). Eating half the national average would make you 50-percent vegan, and eating the national average would make you 0-percent vegan.[40] Eating a turkey carcass contaminated with bird flu could kill you, and currently available drugs might not work. Cooking should kill the virus, but it could be left behind on cutting boards and utensils and spread through something else you’re eating.[41]

Meat, though it may be unhealthy, can still be eaten if done so in moderation. Furthermore, not eating meat will not save animals. Meat is, not even in Eastern Europe, a luxury anymore and can therefore be more easily ignored. It will take some time for places like Vietnam and Pakistan to follow suite where being fat is still a status symbol - but it is only a question of time and pain and this will change too.[44] Meat eaters don't pretend to be superior like some vegans do. If you fell picked on because you are a vegan maybe you should look at how you presentg yourselves.[45]

Standards were quite high. Then, in the early-mid nineties the federal government was prompted to wanted a piece of the growing "industry". Standard practice is to estimate adjusted means by plugging in the mean value of any covariate to estimate the mean response for all combinations of the factors and taking simple means of these estimates over factor levels. Those familiar with directly standardized rates will see that this is essentially the same operation.

Animal liberation means that I will do my best to avoid having a hard in causing suffering to animals. Because of my beliefs in animal liberation, I have changed many aspects of my life, including my consumption habits (diet) and my interaction with animals in general (including humans).[49] Animals don’t become extinct because we don’t eat them. Bengal tigers are becoming extinct.[50] Animal rights has become a new kind of "culture war," which has made persuasion more difficult; veganism is in danger of suffering the same fate. [51]

Animal rapist are only 6% of the population. The population with the mind of serial killers, rapist and child abuser.[52]

Rather than symbolic actions (like protesting) or indirect actions (like letter writing), direct action dives headlong into the problem. In the animal rights community an example of direct action could be breaking into an animal testing lab to free animals and maybe even cause some financial hardship by destroying equipment or property.[53] Rather than ask him if he had been ill, I just asked how he was doing. He really didn't answer but he did say he had been gone 2 months working on a cabin.[54]

Vitamin K-rich leafy vegetables facilitate the formation of the essential bone protein osteocalcin. Women with a higher vitamin K intake (a green leafy vegetable at least once a day) had a 45 percent reduced risk of hip fractures compared to those women with a low intake (eating a leafy vegetable less than once a week).[56] Vitamin B12 sources include fortified foods and supplements. Calcium comes from greens and from fortified foods like orange juice and soymilk.[57]

Instead, I make a move to further welcome him into the elite world of veganism. Instead of smelling like a grilled cow, or fried pig, or raw fish, I now smell carob-sweet and orange-fresh! My wife's body odor has also changed a bit as well and she now smells like fresh peaches![65] Instead of bashing the guy and getting angry, put your time, energy, and money elsewhere. We all know his attitude is potty, but WHO CARES .it is up to those who actually know what destruction HIS diet and menu do the Earth to DO SOMETHING.[66]

Consumption of beta-carotene-rich vegetables can provide the body with the needed vitamin A. Some individuals with adequate intake of beta-carotene experienced vitamin A deficiency because consumption of insufficient amount of fat together with carotene-rich vegetables, and dietary deficiencies in iron and zinc.[67] Consuming nothing but raw, whole foods cuts back considerably on caloric intake and saturated fat consumption. At any rate, it may be just your own metabolic rate.[68] Consumption of these fats should be daily, but accompanied with lots of fiber, to help it through the intestines. [69]

Yeah, we pretty much get away with it. The lab partner/s always know what's going on anyway, and while I do experiment-stuff they clean whatever I've already used.[70] Yes if you are a vegan no if you are a vegetarian. Yes Bob, the study shows that vegans are more likely to detest pessimistic, overly pretentious personalities than non-vegans :)) Silly man! If you knew anything about animal rights advocates, you would know that we are anything but pessimistic.[72]

Yes, we even have vegan Republicans, weirdly enough. If you want any more book rec's, I've got a million. I read up on this stuff before going vegan. Nothing too simple, right? I could try replicating a poached egg for the next challenge, ha![76] Nothing wrong with veganism, but it has nothing to do with making you instantly skinny (or a bitch). [77]

Eventually your taste buds do catch up with your ethics. I didn?t think that I could live without blue cheese, and I'm doing fine. Eventually your taste buds do catch up with your ethics. I didn’t think that I could live without blue cheese, and I’m doing fine.[79]

Vegan has come a long way since its early days and continues to evolve especially as more individuals rely on such vegan options to deliver taste and a healthier product. This means cleaner ingredients. As for the vinyl shoes - the Annalucia remembers seeing them in her girlhood, back in the Paleolithic. They looked cheap and did not wear well at all.[88] It is a common assumption that vegans are more peaceful and less violent than meat eaters, but there is no compelling evidence to support this as yet. Certainly this can be disproved observationally if we consider that a number of associated activist groups (vegan, animal rights, and/or environmental) have been verbally abusive toward people who disagree with them, and physically destructive of property.[89]

Vegans were telling people to not eat meat on a bogus site about global warming. Athletes and people need protien and i like mine from a cow not tofu or some pill.[90] I never think about what I eat or salivate at the thought of that juicy steak I won’t allow myself to consume, because I just don’t want it. Not eating meat products is as easy for me as not eating cardboard is for the average person. I've heard that some of the Sainsbury's Indian ready meals are vegan and that they might be stocking some Amy's products soon but haven't been able to check yet. [92]

The Chef himself is attractive enough in his own way, but eating canned animal flesh that has sat on a grocer's self at room temperature for several months is not. [93] If you meet someone and learn that he prefers fish to chicken, or vanilla to chocolate, at least the rest of him remains a mystery. You have yet to discover his personality, politics, and position on Wal-Mart.[94] I wont eat it for religious reasons(eating feces goes agaist Christianity, Islam and Hinduism, all three major religions. Even if it doesnt hurt the bats, its feces.[95]

There is exactly one leather item in my closet - a pair of 20-hole Doc Martens purchased a little over a decade ago, long before I went vegan.[97] But then, once again, I thought about the size of this poor child Crown and thought, are you kidding me with this weight of 3 1/2 pounds? I mean, that's smaller than a fucking NERF football.[98]

Now, I barely eat it, maybe once every two months.[99] The Act allows employees to bring civil actions to recover benefits due under their plans. Or, you know, don't.[120] While a pill is OK, the vitamin is better absorbed from sub-lingual (under the tongue) sources. Some people also get a B12 shot periodically from their doctor.[121] Some I suppose are adamantly opposed to using animals for anything while others are just opposed to their overall treatment. According to my source over in our Vegetarian Campaigns department, Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia has taken an early lead in the voting, and Bryce Dallas Howard, who's starring in this summer's Spiderman 3 —which, if the box office numbers are anything to go by, everyone in the country has seen a couple of times already—is currently inching ahead in the votes for the ladies.[130] Then in college I found it much harder to stay vegan in a tiny rural town with no Whole Foods and no vegan-friendly restaurants, and I succumbed to the lure of animal products. In 2006, after three years off from veganism, I started up again, and this time I've gone totally vegan because I'm a little more skeptical of the "free-range" label than I used to be, and I don't really need cholesterol-filled eggs or mercury-laced fish anyway.[131]

B-12 is a challenge but nothing a supplement can't take care of once a week. I am more concerned about meat eaters that eat not only meat, but generally tend to eat highly processed foods that are detrimental to thier health.[132]
